Our 6th North America Senior Fellowship National Conference will be held this year at Radisson Hotel Hauppauge - Long Island. Hosted by The Long Island Marthoma Church, Merrick, New York from October 31st to November 3rd, 2024.

Rt. Rev. Dr. Abraham Mar Paulos Episcopa

Diocesan Bishop

Dr. Abraham Mar Paulos Episcopa is a member of the Central and Executive Committee of the World Council of Churches (WCC). The children's Maramon, organized in connection with the Centenary of Sunday School Samajam, stands out as an excellent example of his leadership qualities and organizational skills. His life is a model for Christian discipleship and he is greatly admired for his leadership skills which encourage and motivate people to aspire to become true disciples of Christ. Thirumeni is passionate about building personal relationships with people and serving their spiritual and physical needs.

Very Rev. Dr. Sham P. Thomas

The distinguished Very Rev. Dr. Sham P. Thomas, originally from Punnackadu, was ordained in 1988, subsequently contributing his pastoral services to Parishes across multiple states in India. His illustrious career includes serving as a Professor and Chairperson of the Department of Communication at the esteemed United Theological College, Bangalore, and holding the prestigious James S Stuart Scholar position at the University of Edinburgh. Currently, he holds the esteemed position of Director at the Ecumenical Christian Centre in Whitefield, Bengaluru

Rev. Joseph John

Rev. Joseph John is from Pullencherry, Nilambur, and his Mother Parish is Pullencherry Bethel Mar Thoma Church, Nilambur. He obtained a Master of Arts (MA) in English Language and Literature from Mar Thoma College, Thiruvalla, affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University in 2000, and a Bachelor of Divinity (BD) from Mar Thoma Theological Seminary, Kottayam, in 2005. Additionally, he holds a Master of Theology (M. Th.) in Christian Theology from United Theological College, Bangalore, earned in 2016. Currently, Rev. Joseph John is pursuing a Doctor of Theology (D. Th.) in Christian Theology from the Federated Faculty for Research in Religion and Culture (FFRRC), Kottayam, affiliated with the Senate of Serampore College (University). He was ordained as Kassessa on 20th July 2005.

The final date to book the hotel reservations is September 30, 2024 to obtain these rates.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Check-in is at 3:00 PM and Check-out is at 11:00 AM. Guests arriving before 3:00 pm will be assigned rooms as they become available.

Accommodation & Transportation

It will be convenient for you fly into Long Island MacArthur Airport. The Radisson is located 25 minutes from the MacArthur Airport.

You can also fly into JFK & LGA.

Final Destination for Complimentary Transportation:

Complimentary transportation will be provided, but you will need to be at the pick-up area within the time frame. If you miss the shuttle, then you will be responsible for transportation.

Please note that if you require transportation to and from the hotel for the duration of the conference, your final arrival and departure destination should be Long Island MacArthur Airport or JFK/LGA airport. Our complimentary transportation service will only be available for journeys between Long Island MacArthur Airport/JFK/LGA and the hotel. Ensure that your travel plans are aligned with this requirement to avail of this facility.
